I can’t imagine his guys haven’t tried to fix this. The hood to fender gap on the driver’s side looks great, fwiw. Probably a quarter of what you see here.
I still really want one (and it doesn’t need to be an R).

If that was my car, I couldn’t look at that without going nuts.

Gotta catch up with Tesla in all aspects of the business

I still dont understand why Ford keeps the old designs around for the hot models. Shelby s and Raptors have the pre-refresh front.

This older, original
design is objectively better.

Right? On my wife’s Sorento, the rear window chrome trim doesn’t quite line up with the rear quarter window trim, but only from one specific angle, lol. It bothers me everytime I wash it. But, that’s a Kia, not a GT350R.

Related: I saw Jay Leno broken-down on the side of an on- ramp to westbound 101 a few weeks ago. He & his mechanic were trying to get his car going. Traffic was just moving fast enough that I couldn’t get a good look at what he was driving.

My Alfa has some pretty laughable panel fitment, but at least the panels are all curvy so the bad gaps aren’ t as glaringly obvious.

I love that he drives all of his cars, and helps work on them
. I never really cared for him as a comedian or talk show host, but he’s a great car guy. Hope his collection turns into a public museum some day.

I just find it very odd.

In your case, and in his, I’m sure the drive makes up for it.

The Raptor would look terrible with that new face.
Probably has something to do with safety regs, too. Depending on what they change, they probably have to go through all the safety testing for each model line.

Eh, it’s a Mustang, the hood will have to be replaced just out of w arranty anyway

I mean clearly theres some reason to it. I just remembered the The ZL1 has the old face too. Just seems wild (to me) to keep making all of the old parts, headlights are not a cheap component.

My co-workers has panel fitment issues too, but it is not that bad.

Old Camaro face also much, much better than the replacement.

Wow, that’s awful. I wonder if the rubber hood stopper just needs to be adjusted or if something else is going on.

Have we talked about his? Does he have the oil consumption issue, or
anything else troublesome?

I think if it was easy, it would’ve been fixed by now.

One of the reasons I like black cars.
Panel gaps? What panel gaps?

We have not talked about his. I shared it once. He got it about a month ago, I think? I have not even talked to him about it because he works in our other offices down the street.

The Raptor looks way better without the 200 lbs of chrome.

Listening to the GT500 review - hides that huge maw pretty well, too.

Gotcha. I’m just interested with how they are to live with. It’s on my short list for future cars (once they’ve depreciated
more).

Man, the original S5 was so beautiful, but they’ve really been on a slide, design-wise,
since then.
